In 2026, Making Her Mark is launching a unique program to foster women’s creativity through state-of-the-art mentorship with transformative community impact. This innovative initiative empowers women creators to make art that builds resilience, strengthens community identity, and amplifies women’s voices to shape the future.

Mentor: 

Participate in a 6 week mentorship initiative, following a mentor program for diverse, developing artists, meeting one on one with mentee caseload, and leading community workshops. Participate in consistent dialogue with the MHM team and provide regular feedback to assist with program development efforts.

Mentee:

Participate in a 6 week mentorship initiative, receive regular, guided mentorship from a mentor, gather and participate in community workshops and collaboration. Provide regular feedback for program development. 

Advocate:

Share the word about this program in your local community, donate (resources, supplies), support local artists. 

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:


Creative Catalyst is Making Her Mark’s mentorship program, seeking to measure the impact supported women artists can have on their community and environment.

This test initiative will run 6 weeks starting in October 2025. We are seeking participants who are interested in being mentors, mentees, and advocates for this initiative!

This program will support developing artists with a research supported minicourse, one on one mentorship, and community workshops.
